Life is all about being into the coolest of the self-made rules where you need not follow what people say. However, to consider and listen to all may be a fruitful and wise deal. When you dig down deep on humanity, then you find everywhere in the corners of this world, lives exist. Poverty has been a forced religion for many, the places where there is no water, people have no clothes, no food. We are lucky on this earth, we are blessed with much more. We are with loving families, loving friends and are working with some motive in life.
Rejoice! Cherish and be thankful from the core of your heart for each moment with your fellow beings and practice to keep your thoughts simplest and the really good ones. My father used to say and still, he says, what I always followed “Do anything, but never even think of doing anything wrong to anybody or never even think of something wrong happens to someone because of you.”
Anger kills the being human in us, anger takes away from us our blessed calibre to make things happen with love. It proves that there is something which you cannot do in life i.e. you are so weak that you cannot make things happen with love. Oh! Why become a loser? Let every situation overcome with love, with compassion. I have seen parents treating kids with loads of anger sometimes and studying different parental behaviour, I also saw many parents let their kids do things wrong and learn on their own. They have never shown aggressive anger. They believe that otherwise, kids will learn same from them.
We are in a world where our own conscience is so humble with us. It is forgiving every time you don’t do right in your life. It’s always with you till your last breath, last wish on this planet. Be compassionate, humble with all, like your own conscious is with you, ALWAYS HUMBLE! Believe in the Almighty - Yes, he is there!

Measure your luxury not by things and their price, Measure by your Selfless Giving. I am very much with the “Teacher Community”. I firmly #StandWithTeachers. I feel sorry on how the society is reacting. I am ashamed that such a pure, precious relation has been badly spoiled by the situation. I have high regard and respect for all the principals, teachers, all school staff and my own teachers who taught me because of whom I have the courage to say this. Good times will be back soon, but we are sorry for some irreparable loss!

Today is the Bhagat Puran Singh Ji's 116th Birthday. He was the founder of Pingalwara Amritsar (an NGO) which no visitor can fail to notice if visiting Amritsar. He was born in a Hindu family, However, he was very inspired by the teachings of Sikhism. He was a passionate learner, However, poverty forced him to discontinue his studies. Despite various obstacles, his passion to serve humanity remained unshaken. He was a friend of the needy, nurse of the patient of any disease. In the year 1940 in Lahore, he used to walk barefooted, half-naked with a cripple boy on his back in an urge to help even more needy people. He acquired vast knowledge on various topics without any academic education and reached to the highest and purest level of thought process by being so closer to the realities of life. Today the NGO is taking care of and supporting more than 1700 patients and the needy. As being from Amritsar, Punjab, many of my friends running NGOs and me, are deeply inspired by him, as well Dr Inderjit Kaur who worked harder at Pingalwara after Bhagat Puran Singh Ji. We should be deeply moved by the devotion and love of Bhagat Ji for the people in extreme need. Our head should bow in his admiration for his exceptional work, which is forever inspirational for generations to come.

Raju - a pure soul
Born in Pathankot, Punjab, Raju has been begging from a very early age. He is differently-abled and believes that service to humanity is the greatest deed one can do. Raju has been appreciated by the Prime Minister in his latest speech for distributing over 3000 masks absolutely free and lakhs worth of grocery to the needy. Even before lockdown, he has often helped needy girls in their marriages, by the money he used to collect by begging on this hand-driven tricycle. It is exhilarating to see that during the lockdown when many are struggling to make their ends meet, there is a beggar with nothing to very little of his own who is helping others survive and taking care of their needs. Raju further aims to keep extending help to the needy girls in his region. Not only should we appreciate the efforts of people like Raju, but also take examples from such pure souls and do our bit for the betterment of the society and hence the nation; only then will the world be a better place for everyone to live.

Selfless Soul - Karnail Singh Khaira
In past one month, more than 75 lakhs migrant workers have moved to their home town via special trains and buses to give relief to stranded workers. Thousands of them chose to go their home on foot. During these most difficult times, a lot of people came forward selflessly to help these labours reach their destination safely and without any trouble. 81-year-old Sikh, Karnail Singh Khaira, fed more than 2 million people on the remote highway of Maharashtra. Because of the remote location, in the tribal region, and no other availability of single Dhaba or restaurant in the stretch of around 450 km, he provided a decent meal to hungry people. The service doesn’t limit only to humans, but they also feed chapati-jaggery daily to around 250 dogs, cats, stray cattle and other mute animals suffering from hunger crisis in lockdown. Though never gone to college, he speaks fluent English, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Dutch and German, besides of course Marathi, the local language of that region. His donors regularly support not only from India but also from the USA and different parts of the world. India needs more people like Karnail Singh Khaira, and his team, who works day and night selflessly for the hungry & needy people. These selfless souls expect nothing in return other than the love of people. We salute them.

I went to houses in my village today, met families with children. To all the children I met, I educated about wearing mask. We gave them washable soft cotton masks. They just loved it! 😊 Its not about business, its all about vision of your business. Social Distancing : I am a regular visitor of Manisha’s home in slums. First time I met “Manisha” two years ago, when I saw her barefooted in school. I also invited “Manisha” on completing 10000 Shoe Giving Mission, I invited this little angel as Chief Guest on Celebrations. My memories with her are many... Due to Lockdown in the country I went to share Food with her, sadly now we cannot freely hug as the so much Hyped FEAR of Corona is not only between us but everyone today... Science may keep us apart, However God will unite us for sure.

Slums are very common in India. Generally, such areas are very crowded and many people live in a small space. There are no real rooms, bathrooms or toilets. There are many slums that I myself have visited, and experienced and seen people living on piles of garbage. One cannot find, that the people are lying on the trash or people like us are throwing garbage on them. It is not the case that people do not want to live in clean space but the problem of the nation is, there is no place or system to manage waste? Such situations directly force children, women and the elderly to live with diseases. How one can afford medicine when they do not have enough to make both ends meet. People living in slums breath as we do, but sadly they do not have any identity or even identity cards to avail any government facilities for their health or meals. When I see a situation like this, it looks like I'm talking about another planet. The slum in our country is a very serious issue. Children, women, elderly all crave for drinking and bathing water in slums, though people like us live so near to them. Kids living on piles of garbage, cannot even dream of going to school. These slums have regular deaths of kids under the age of 5 and that is not considered to be a big deal. This heart-wrenching photo, taken by my team last week, is a proof that, in many places, God still does not exist, otherwise he must have felt pity for the pain these kids are going through. What can God do when we ourselves do not feel compassion for people who need us most and are around us? Giving shoes to such kids, whose feet are full of pain and injuries, gives me a lot of peace.

I am highly honored to have Dr Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director - IIM Amritsar, at our offices today. I stay and run my IT business - SimbaQuartz from a small village Tangra in Amritsar, from last 6 years. Today, his visit to my village has been one of the most encouraging moments for a rural entrepreneur like me. I shared my journey as a woman entrepreneur and was amazed to know his journey too. I found Dr Nagarajan very very intelligent and humble. I also want to mention, It was a proud moment for me today as I have two teammates Vishal Pandey from IIM, Amritsar and Megavath Pramod Sai Naik from IIM Sambalpur in my team and today we had really healthy conversations together.

Today, Col. Ratnakar Trivedi - "The real-life hero" has visited our office. He has embraced bullets while on the mission, for our Smiles. We salute him. He is a very kind, humble & generous personality. He was commissioned into Army in 1992 as in Sikh Light Infantry Regiment. Col. has been awarded a number of honors and medals during his service. He has interacted with our team and talked about mental health, physical fitness, team-work and 28 years of his experience in the Indian military. Our team has loved and enjoyed the talk with him. From my pen... “Secret of Being Loved by All"
The heart is for compassion, it is to love and care. The heart is to pray, to spread positive vibes. I recorrect myself again and again and I correct my thoughts every day. The heart is to lift people, to help people to become genuinely fearless as we all are children of One Father, Almighty. The rule of love, care and compassion is, you will always receive love, care and compassion back. And, this is the secret of being loved by all. Love all, care all, be compassionate for all and you will be loved by all. My view of seeing towards life is different. I believe in loving, caring, being compassionate and especially pray with all positive vibes for the universe. The universe includes people who bring joy to my life and who do not bring joy to my life. I firmly believe there are no good and no bad people, it is always happy people who want to bring joy to your life and other people who do not want to bring joy to your life. It is very easy to pray for people you love, you care, you like. However, the gift of your precious life should belong to very genuinely pray for all. Avoid the darkness, the darkness of selfishness, the darkness of giving pain. Embrace the act of reviving and healing others by the power of prayers from your heart and by the power of thinking good and positive, especially, for people who do not bring joy to your life, people who may not like you. Your real strength lies in being positive, being loving, compassionate for all, even in Darkness, even in Pain. That's the secret of being Loved By All. Love and Pray for All, Everyone!

From my pen .. "Her First School Bag"
If bread can be eaten with salt, then what is the need for vegetables and curry? This thing fits perfectly with Dilpreet Kaur.
There are also school children, whose shoulders have never had the school bag, from first to fifth grade and there is no hope too. For some children, a school bag is a special item that their family cannot afford. I met Dilpreet in a Amritsar border area school. Well I couldn't talk to her much, but later it made me think, how the kids are forced to bring books in the polythene or casual small sacks. At a young age, children become so wise that they do not even ask their parents, for what they need. The young kids are well aware of helpless situation at home. They are not as stubborn as our children, though they must be always wishing for a good school bag or other things they need in their heart. After 5-6 years, Dilpreet Kaur was very happy to get the school bag for the first time in her life. Her smile is precious to me as for me Smiles are Blessings ... - Mandeep Kaur Sidhu

From my pen .. Can Sukhpreet's eyes see the world?
Its New Year, however pain is still older .... Not everything can be bought with money, much of is in God's control. Sukhpreet Kaur met me last year during a Shoe Giving Campaign at Government Elementary School village Nurpur Hakima, District Moga in Punjab. She cannot see the world, but feels everything. There is always a smile on her face. Sukhpreet's father is no more. Her mom works in a private school as a helper. Sukhpreet's teachers told us that she is very good at studying and She is one of the brilliant students in school. Her friend Harman too supports her all the time in school. I have already written about Sukhpreet many times before. Recently, Gurpreet Kaur from "New Jersey" contacted us to help Sukhpreet after reading her story on our facebook page. She was ready to pay all money for the treatment of her eyes. She knew it may take thousands of dollars, However she had urge to see the happiness of the child who have never seen the world like us before. Gurpreet Kaur, an angel gave us hope. Sukhpreet will be able to see the world like all of us, and what a happy moment it will be for her. Our team contacted Sukhpreet's mother. She was very much ready to take her daughter to the doctor, if she could see.The best eye specialist in the district has been selected by our NGO Smiles Care, to examine her eyes. However, the doctor said that Sukhpreet can not see the world. Her eyes do not have nerves when she is born, her eyes never formed when she was in womb. It was a sad moment for all of us and there is no solution to this. I salute women like Gurpreet Kaur ji who are coming forward to think differently to help children with disability. Let us rejoice in what nature has given us. Even the greatest doctor of the world cannot challenge nature. Sometimes, even if we have millions of rupees, our wish cannot be fulfilled. Nature is Stronger. Sukhpreet is blessed to see a different world, which none other can see...

Being a female, I have seen both the happy as well as the sad days of life women goes through. Teach and keep yourself highly busy so that the moment you fall on bed, you are badly tired and experience sound sleep.
I believe it is the blessings of God Almighty who has given us this beautiful life to face challenges and work hard to fulfil our dreams, be it of ourselves or for the sake of society. We all should have a hobby that we love doing and that keeps us always busy so that our thoughts should not be focused on negativities of life. Basically, females are the direct victims of useless stress created due to idleness. Even if a female is hailing from a strong economic background should find some hobby of her own interest that keeps them busy, happy and away from any sort of stress.
Not only any job or business of theirs will keep them mentally away from stress but also bring smiles on the faces of the others as well as their families. No doubt charity begins at home, but helping the needy brings utmost happiness and every woman should experience it.

I am running my series of ventures successfully from past 6 years and they are now profitable and growing at a faster pace. I have never taken a loan for any of my ventures and I always believe in the organic growth of businesses starting from a very small scale. Besides all odds, I am running my venture from a rural place and giving jobs to my local people too. I believe one should not try to be a job seeker instead of that must aim to become a job creator. We need to stop the brain drain as loads of talent is going outside India in search of jobs and my message to them is if I can do from being a small village with very limited resources, then every one of you can do it. With this thought, developing countries like India can progress more. One can start from the small business but to start first is important. I want more men and women to opt for starting their own businesses and my goal through my campaign is to inspire people at the right time. Through “Uddam - Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign” I will be visiting various higher secondary schools, colleges and universities.

I have an opportunity to live all the year-round in the United States and start and register the business in the United States instantly, however, it has been 6 years now I am running the show from India. I very well know I can make even more bucks in the United States. My intentions are to uplift my own country and to make things happen from my village back in India. Excelling in a developed country is not a tough game, you can earn quick bucks rise even faster in terms of money that is most people call success. From one of my recent campaigns done in Government Elementary School in District Moga, This little schoolgirl does not have the uniform even. She came to school just in slippers. My mission through "50000 Shoe To Give" Campaign is not only to provide things to the kids but also being closer to them and experience their selfless love, know their problems beyond shoes and uniforms. I am well settled in the United States, however, I find my need in my own country where people actually need help and support. I spend the majority of months of the year in my village. I practice Compassion, Selflessness and Being honest every day. Most of the times I feel, I am discovering my own self everyday.

The person who claims to be perfect without flaw or defect, is claiming to be like God. The person who knows his flaws all too well, is open to God's love because he realizes he is not God. Imperfection is a wound that lets God in. If we urge to maintain pretense of perfection all the time, we will never be brave enough to try anything new or anything challenging or to live life as we wish to. We will only do things that are guaranteed to turn out right. We will never learn, we will never grow. If parents cannot handle mistakes of their children, it may be they need them to be perfect to reflect credit on them. If friends are unforgiving and rejects us for our behavior, it may be because of their expectations from us. But, God does not need us to meet His needs and His expectations. God loves a frustrated person as much as a successful person. A crying person as much as a happy person. In fact, those who are in pain, God loves them even more. He accepts them when others rejects them. He embraces, He heals. Remember, God will forgive us for our sins only when we had forgiven those who had hurt and disappoint us. We should always ask for forgiveness from God only after we had forgiven those who had hurt and disappointed us, who has given us pain.

He loves the person even more and never leave him alone. God may be disappointed in some of the things we do, However, he is never ever disappointed in who we are. He loves everyone, despite our sins. We need to learn from Him.

This precious picture is still hiding the real story. There was no space between his little toe and fingers because he never wore a slipper, however his sisters were happy to get the one for him. May be "The First Slipper" for their dearly loved brother and the lovely sisters were impatiently trying to fit the one in his cracked feet. Just like you try to fit a new diamond ring in your finger, this child was trying to fit the slipper for the first time between his toe and fingers. My heart fills with heavy emotions, However I choose to smile with the needy.

I have been writing and delivering lectures on entrepreneurship from last six years. It has been a great experience interacting with a number of people who dedicated themselves to make their startups a unicorn venture. Successful startups are those, which can be scalable. A local egg selling shop might be profitable but might not be scalable to become a unicorn venture, even more! Hey Dream Big! Let me share the characteristics to cross-check that might fit your startup, to check whether it can be scaled up:
1. Viable, when small:
Check if your venture is viable, even when it is small. Aim successful Pilot run. The ideal startup is the one which has potential to grow organically. Rather than taking third-party money, the venture has been initially bootstrapped or sustained with its own revenues. Aim for a venture which does not go out of the way, when you are left with no investor's money. Think sensible, Investor's money should be used even with more care than the own money. If your venture has such a characteristic, it can genuinely be scaled up.
2. Process oriented:
Processes should be the backbone of the startup. The startups should focus on documenting and inculcating processes in such a way, that even the attrition rate of the human resource rises, the business should never effect. Losing a resource should not give a big jerk and result into losing business. One way of achieving it is, Giving preference to the technology to manage your company operations processes rather than hiring much staff. Startups should invest in technology along because data and deadlines to meet are forever important. Technology, says having an integrated departmental integration via an enterprise management system will keep all ends of business in sync. Your staff might come and go, your customers will never be affected. Technical department in all the companies is as important today as much the sales department is. Come out of excels buddy 🙂 Low dependency on people is sure sign of scalability. Example: Mc Donald does not depend on Top Chefs to run their business. The defined process, products, low dependency on special human resource and technology backed up well makes it's scalable.
3. Increase in sales should drop operating cost:
You made an app with an investment of 5lacs and now it is saleable. After covering its cost through a number of subscriptions, costing equivalent to 5lacs. Later, with each additional subscription, you are going to make almost pure profit. If startups focus on products and services whose marginal costs drop over time and they keep on selling themselves with up-gradations, the business is scalable. *Another example is Amazon's Kindle business is scalable because, after the cost to Amazon of selling the first digital copy is taken into account, each additional copy is almost pure profit. In contrast, you want to expand your barber shop, the second shop will cost you exactly as much as the first one (rent, equipment, salaries). So if with an increase in sales the operating costs get lowered down, your venture is scalable.
What might seems interesting may not be scalable so you can direct your startups to the characteristics proposed. There must be many other characteristics, I would love to check those in response from you below the article.

The Givers do not throw a cold shoulder, they always hold the hands with love and urge to help, the one in need. The Givers understand the importance of lending an ear, a hand, and a shoulder. They understand that money cannot solve all problems.

Aim to surround yourself with supportive people. Choose your friends selectively. Many times other people share their experience, they share their tips and strategies what helps them and if they share honestly with you, you may apply it to your life too. Do a similar genuine effort when others ask for help. Whatever you give to the Universe, it comes back to you. Aim to give Good advise, Good advise will come back to you too. Grow! Grow! Grow! 🙂

And the Vegan diet, combination of Raw & Cooked, followed for straight 3 days helped me to heal my stomach and it has been a great detox. However it gave me headaches and enough body aches. I am ending my Being Vegan challenge at 3 days and it had been super insider experience of veganism. No tea, no ghee, no animal product or by product, no honey, milk, curd and NO to many things we have in our kitchens. Being vegan definitely needs a vegan society you can associate with, self cooking and managing your food, enough time to plan your food as per vegan guidelines and health guidance is of course required. It was a real great experience of 72 hours and a super healer. I recommend to try for 2-3 days at max for the first time. I would love to take another Being Vegan challenge soon, 😀 fewer days of course. Can you imagine your days without tea? 😊

Vegan Day - 01
I am super super fond of eating and I am a non-vegetarian otherwise, though I failed multiple times earlier, However, my experiment for a Month, BEING VEGAN starts from today after giving enough thought to it. From a longer period almost a year, I have observed a major fall in my health leading to much more unavoidable health complications. I have a pool of friends helping me to improve my health through eating right rather than being dependent on just medicines and I am thankful. And I started my day with Vesan Ka Pooda (Gram flour vegetable stuffed bread) and some little boiled potatoes followed by black coffee 🙂 I would love to share my vegan experiences and experiments 🙂 (an old photo attached)

When you dig down deep on humanity, then you find where in the corners of this world, lives exist. Poverty has been a religion for many, the places where there is no water and the sun shines to its best, people have no clothes, no food. We are lucky on this earth, we are blessed with much more. We are with loving families, loving friends and are working with some motive in life.
Rejoice! Cherish each moment with your fellow beings, win people’s heart with the way you behave and keep your thoughts simplest and the real good ones. My father used to say and still he says, what I always followed “Do anything, but never even think of doing anything wrong to anybody or never even think of something wrong happens to someone.”
Anger kills the being human in us, anger takes away from us our calibre to make things happen with love. It proves that there is something which you cannot do in life, you cannot make things happen with love. You are a looser then! Oh! Why become a looser? Let situation overcome with love.
Our conscience is so humble with us. It is forgiving, for everything you delay or you do wrong. It’s always with you till your last breath. Be like your own conscious is with you, ALWAYS HUMBLE!

Today is the Bhagat Puran Singh ji's 115th Birthday. He was the founder of Pingalwara Amritsar (an NGO) which no visitor can fail to notice if visiting Amritsar.He was born in a Hindu family, However he was very inspired by the teachings of Sikhism. He was a passionate learner, However poverty forced him to discontinue his studies. Despite of various obstacles, his passion to serve humanity remained unshaken. He was a friend of the needy, nurse of the patient of any disease. In year 1940 in Lahore, he used to walk barefooted, half naked with a cripple boy on his back in an urge to help even more needy people. He acquired vast knowledge on various topics without any academic education and reached to the highest and purest level of thought process by being so closer to the realities of life. Today the NGO is taking care of and supporting more than 1700 patients and the needy. As being from Amritsar, Punjab, many of my friends running NGOs and me, are deeply inspired by him, as well Dr. Inderjit Kaur who worked harder at Pingalwara after Bhagat Puran Singh Ji. We should be deeply moved by the devotion and love of Bhagat Ji for the people in extreme need. Our head should bow in his admiration for his exceptional work, which is forever inspirational for generations to come.

I have been following Atishi's work for the last two years. I am always impressed by all the hardworking women, who work selflessly for the society. Although I have no interest in politics, however, yes, I genuinely support women who are doing honest work in their different fields. Yesterday, after seeing the press conference of Atishi, I could not stop my tears. People with a poor mindset distributed “obscene and derogatory” pamphlets in the newspapers against Atishi in New Delhi. Even people called her "prostitute." This incident is not a mishap but a catastrophe for women like Aitishi. When people find nothing against women who mark the world with their honesty and selfless work then people target them in terms of character. They try to break the mental morale of women with their bitter and unacceptable words. Forgetting humanity, their daughters, sisters, people start using the weapon of being characterless on progressing women. Their sharp edge swords "words" often shatter her, give pain to her, and in under such pressure, she is forced to think to whom am I dedicating my energy? Being a graduate from Oxford University, is it her fault to chose India rather than abroad for her services? Honesty over money? Such an empowered woman decided to dedicate her efforts for education in India. She brought revolution in the department of education in New Delhi. We are all known the work and efforts of her. Thus breaking a woman's morale with disrespectful words is not less than rape. My message to the inhuman beings is that, the selfless and honest person can never be defeated by cheap personal attacks.

Last year this little sweet kid Paramjeet Singh was studying in our Smiles Care Evening school. He has two younger brothers and two elder sisters. Then, her mother came to us and asked for financial help. On reviewing the situation,I came to know the younger brothers are twins and not even a year old. It was tough for the family to even arrange milk for them.We helped them with money to buy milk for months. Usually, I get so deeply touched, knowing such stories personally. We people pay special attention to the rallies and other political affairs but never realise the girls walking in ragged clothes. What is the use of this so-called educated society if our people cannot take care of the upcoming youth of the country? Recently I was at a school where Gursewak one of the orphan child came to school in ragged clothes and on top of it without shoes too. I wonder what is the use of all the new developments been published in the newspaper, the construction of new bridges and statues or upcoming launch of bullet trains if we could not be of any help to our little orphans of our country? The growth and success of our children is the need of the hour. We should come out of our comfort zones and take care of the utmost needy kids living not only in the villages of Punjab but across India.

Leaving all else behind, our country strictly needs attention on education and health. We are so much focused on big statues and destination decorative cities, but focus is required on torn uniforms of the kids going to school. We feel formal gatherings, rallies are important, why we do not feel our girls are more important who wear torn clothes to schools. Why? we don't feel it important to pay attention and worry, that the future of our country is full of diseases and uneducated youth. Why we need bridges and decorative cities, where our kids goes to school half naked. Kids who wants to study, today too they helplessly come to school without shoes. Today, we had our shoe giving campaign at Village - Talwandi, district Amritsar in Punjab and we found Gursewak Singh came to school bare feet. There was one more kid, who has lost both his parents and came to school in completely torn clothes from all sides. We do not need bridges, we do not need statues and bullet trains and even we do not need the colourful policies only for the sake of decoration of the newspapers. Even kids can judge what is right and what is wrong? There is nothing above the health of our kids. Already so much of population is lying in hospitals and dying, we should be ashamed we are doubling the future patients. I have never seen even a soap in schools but have definitely seen half-naked kids. I thought I should just focus on doing campaigns and say nothing as it can hamper my social work, but the conditions of the kids are so worst that I am forced to write. I request to please pay attention. We have yet not ever mentioned about kids who are not at all coming to schools, they must be in most pity condition. They must be helping their parents in fields at the age of 5 to get ready with ingredients of the pizza we are going to enjoy in our AC rooms. Small changes can do nothing, especially in the field of education and health, There is need of seriousness and bigger steps quickly.

We need to know from where our food comes from and how it is grown and produced? We need to buy from companies who treat their workers and environment with respect. If we talk about Tomatoes, they are seasonal but now they are available for whole year round like freshly picked. They are plucked unripe, green and are ripened by artificial ethylene gas for the whole year round. I want to give another cruel example of how the chicken is produced for industrial use? A chicken which takes 3 months to get to its actual regular size, is injected with drugs so that it becomes a heavy loaded fatty chicken just in 49 days. Out of which many dies because of their excessive weight. However the companies don’t care and just flood the supermarkets with some nice packaging. We need to protect ourselves and know our food. When you go to markets buy food that is seasonal, organic. Prefer to buy food that is grown or produced locally. Prefer to buy from local farmer's market or direct from farmer. Plant a garden. You can choose to plant even a small one or grow vegetables just in pots. If you are non-vegetarian prefer vendors that raise their livestock naturally. Cook food along with your family and have it together. If you are seeking grace, ask for healthy organic food, for yourself, for family, for all of us.

"Jiro Ono" born on 27th October 1925 is a Japanese 92 year chef and owner of "Sukiyabashi Jiro" a Sushi restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. His father died, when he was just 9 years old. He pushed himself to work and never looked back. Ono has been regarded by his renowned chefs and peers as the greatest sushi craftsman alive and is credited with innovating methods used in modern sushi preparation. Former U.S. President "Barack Obama" dined at the restaurant with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on April 23, 2014, and Obama proclaimed it 'the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life.' Ono's restaurant is just 10 seater and one has to book at least a month before to get the seat. It costs 30,000 Yen i.e approx. $300 per person. He serves 20 different pieces of Sushi in 15 minutes. Ono is never satisfied with his work, for his whole life he kept on mastering his skill of making Sushi again and again. It has been more than 80 years now since he is perfecting his art of making Sushi better, or to improve his skills. He takes his work very seriously. He consistently performs at the highest level and always aspire to improve. He maintains the highest level of cleanliness in his restaurant. Do not register and put the big CEO/COO/CMO tags. You can work dedicatedly on the idea first, figure out your business model, start your lean planning process, make your lean business plan, research on levels of product development, create a minimum viable product, research competition, get along with your co-founders, post on a website and social channels, check if customer accepts the product? All from your home, your room itself. The days have gone when companies used to spend thousands of bucks just on a logo and companies used to do huge announcements and ceremonies on appointing a CEO. There is a huge shortage of skills in emerging technologies among our IT companies today. Students should choose to learn latest computer languages, analytics, big data, cloud, artificial intelligence, data annotation, speech transcription, image classification and automation. The demand and supply gap for the shared fields in IT is in lacs. India is not yet ready to adopt and even work aggressively on the latest technologies because of non-availability of talent. The fast-growing technology today will create lacs of jobs by 2020, for which again there be non-availability of required talent. There is an urgent need for Industry-Academia collaboration today, to get the fresher trained through basic skills and they themselves need to work harder to become employable and skill ready graduates.

Small cuts in spending habits can change many lives. Let's say you spend Rs. 5000 on your weekends with family for the party. If you lower down the budget to just 3000 or go thrice despite 4 times in a month. You save Rs.5000-6000 per month, which may hardly make any difference to your fun. However, the money can help a family to buy basic food items for the whole month or two. If you go to the movies twice a month along with family including your break time popcorns for a total of Rs.5000 per month. If you cut down watching a movie twice and go to the cinema just once a month. The second time you can buy a disc and watch movies at home with family. The money saved can be used for the help of a kid going to school who need shoes, uniform and books to study. Spending a little less on your own wardrobe can make the world of difference to the families in need. I am recommending this as I often remember my visits to needy places where our team Gives Shoes. The sad part is we feel pity for human like us wearing the shoe to those who not even have proper clothes to wear.

Close to 8,00,000 people die by suicide every year all over the world. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth between age group 15-29 years. Ingestion of pesticide, hanging and firearms are among the most common methods of suicide globally. Suicide is a serious public health problem. However, Suicides are preventable with timely interventions. Who around us are at risk? The crises breakdown because of inability to deal with life stresses, such as financial problems, behavioural issues with family, friends or relatives, relationship break-up or illness are the reasons. Also, experiencing abuse or sense of isolation are strongly associated with suicidal behaviour. Suicide rates are too high amongst helpless groups which suffer discrimination such as refugees and migrants. Suicide rates are higher in groups such as lesbian, gay, transgender and prisoners. We need to treat such communities with love and should accept them as the human being like us. They are our brothers and sisters too. By far the strongest risk factor for suicide is a previous suicide attempt. Suicides are preventable. We need more non-profits (NGOs) to come forward and spread awareness. The government should introduce drug policies, especially alcohol policies to reduce the harmful use. It should be allowed to buy with id proofs along. We should work on early identification, treatment and care of people around. We should judge people if they are sad or into depression. Non-profits can work on follow-up care for people who attempted suicide. Suicide is a complicated issue. Its prevention efforts require coordination and collaboration among multiple sectors of society, including the health sector and other sectors such as education, law, the general public, friends and families, politics, and the media. Poverty is just like a disease to which other problems are associated. There are a number of people who live below poverty line and therefore they are forced to live on the streets, footpaths and slum areas. These people live in such areas where the living conditions are unfavorable. As we know, a pair of shoe is a necessity for every individual but for the poorer earning pair of shoe is least priority task due to which they suffer from many health issues. According to the medical opinion, shoes prevent severe parasites transmitted through soil, along with the many deadly diseases. Approximately, two million people worldwide are infected with soil-transmitted diseases. These diseases are caused by different species of roundworms. It is infected by those worms which are transmitted through contaminated soil. So we can very well imagine that how the poor people try to earn their livelihood by putting their life into so much of risk.
