"Living The Simple Life" by Elaine St. James is a wonderful piece of writing that helps you to choose to be simple in everything. Yes, your friends may make fun of you but you will end up avoiding complexities, saving time and money. how good do we have to be

30 July 2018

I am glad to share the inspiring and healing Key insights of the book "How Good Do We Have To Be?" written by Harold S. Kushner
Love all despite their flaws as we believed God loves us despite ours. Religion properly understood is the cure for any disappointment, it's never the cause. Even if people assure us that we do not deserve to be loved because of our mistakes, God loves us anyway, because He is loving, He is forgiving. He never expects from us more than we are capable of being. He does not burden us. You do not have to be perfect, just do your best and God will accept you as you are. Do not expect your loved ones to be perfect, Love them for their faults, for their trying and stumbling, as God loves us.
God hates the sin but never hates the sinner. He accepts him again and again anyway. God condemns the sin but loves the person who did it. He never brands His children as the sinner. God may be disappointed in some of the things we may do, He is never disappointed in who we are.

shoe dog phil knight

5 July 2016

My latest read : Phil Knight - A legend who spent a fair portion of his life in debt. Just like many entrepreneurs he wakes up in the morning with a feeling that he owes a sum far greater to others than he can pay. He spent his full life, decades to build Nike from scratch, Gave opportunities to specially challenged people who became part of his powerful team. He wanted to leave a mark on the world. Phil knight was from Stanford and did job too for years, he worked and earned, however his all focus was on building up Nike and investing each penny in it. He started with Japanese factories and then Taiwanese. He hated wars but loved the war spirits. His first sales rep Johnson has a remarkable character in the book, who played a major role in initial sales. His partner and coach Bowerman played a vital role in product development throughout his journey. The chapter of life with his student who later became his wife - Penny is adorable. All his journey is full of getting approval for loans and limits from financial institutions and banks. His specially challenged employee Woodell helped him in managing things better at office and also lent him 7000 dollars during one of the crises, which turned to millions later when Nike got Public.
